Us.Man.Dere are a collective of young cultural tastemakers set on transforming the way stories are told and the impacts they leave behind. In Summer 2023 Hive Curates comissioned UMD to tell stories of local business in Stratford.

Drag Queen Sideshow nut and Lizard Lady Lolo Brow has been recognised at the forefront of Neo-Burlesque. Infamous for their award winning comedy burlesque acts, Brow is also well known for their deep political interest, diverse skills ranging from fire to whips and lack of morality. We interviewed them on the art of show biz what to expect at their workshop with us in June.

We interviewed Sense Collective, a multimedia platform bringing trans-disciplinary art practitioners together to explore, reflect and connect through their work. The collective will be playing meditative sounds during our inaugural event 25th May 2023. We’re proud to announce the launch of first event titled: Balance: Art and Wellbeing, following on from Mental Health Awareness week the event aims to promote positivity and belonging on our high street. The launch event will take place on May 25th outside Alice Billings House in the Old Town Hall Courtyard.
